The local strawberry season ends and you find yourself lost trying to find a decent strawberry anywhere. Something with a nice red flesh, inside and out, and bursting with strawberry flavour. This variety tastes like a perfect cross between a June Berry and Albion Berry. Sweet summer strawberry flavour with the texture of firmer berry. 

Sourcing good berries non-locally is difficult because they are often ripped from the vine too early, thus having very little flavour. Sweetest Batch berries remain on the vine for the necessary amount of time giving every berry a borderline local flavour.
