Not a lot of people eat Black Currants raw, but that certainly does not mean that some people don't. Black Currants are more commonly used for jams, pies, ciders, wines, mead and extracts. When processed down the flavour changes immensely into an anti-oxidant rich, funky, sweet and berrylicous flavour.
