Red Ball Lychee's are considered one of the best varieties to come out Australia. They have a deep red colour and a tiny, tiny pit. About the size of a pinto, or black bean. The flavour is crisp, clean, floral and grape-like.
Preparation Ideas: Cut them in half and enjoy the refreshing and floral flavour. Or try something new like covering them in honey, butter and cinnamon and caramelizing them in the oven. Then enjoying them with some ice cream. Or on their own.
