Not a lot of people eat Black Currants raw, but that certainly does not mean that some people don't. Black Currants are more commonly used for jams, pies, ciders, wines, mead and extracts. When processed down the flavour changes immensely into a anti-oxidant rich funky, sweet and berrylicous flavour.
