Also known as a German turnip, but we have never heard that before in our lives. So we will stick to Kohlrabi. This bizarre wild cabbage cultivar is of the same species as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, collard greens, Savoy cabbage, and gai lan. Eat it raw, eat it cooked, just make sure you hack the hard skin off with a knife because the skin is quite indigestible.
