Fragrant Pears have a crisp,  firm, and ivory to cream-coloured flesh. They definitely live up to their name with a strong, floral aroma and when ripe, they are crunchy, juicy, and sweet. Strangely very soft when you bite into it, and a much lighter in weight than your common pear.
