Pepino Melon (x2)

While "Pepino" is Spanish for Cucumber, this tiny melon isn't actually related to the cucumber family. Unlike most melons which grow on vines, the Pepino melon grows on an evergreen plant. This melon is not known for its sweetness, but rather for its more mild tomato/cucumber flavour that makes it great for salsa type dishes. Surprisingly, the seeds house a sweeter, almost banana smoothie, taste.
