"When one has tasted watermelon he knows what the angels eat." - Mark Twain.
This should not be a surprise given that Mark was born in Florida and he also worked in mines. Put the two together and you have a tropical southern boy who has spent time working in one of the darkest and most dangerous of jobs; hundreds of feet past any sliver of sunlight. I could only imagine how a watermelon would taste when I reached the light.
In case you're wondering: 7.5lbs is pretty damn heavy for a melon.
